Cló Iar-Chonnacht Irish-language book shop is offering one free eBook per week during the Covid19 crisis. We are also offering discounts of up to 50% on all eBooks through our online bookshop, http://www.cic.ie, during this time.
The Cló Iar-Chonnacht team is working from home due to the most recent guidelines that were issued by the Irish Government on Friday 27 March, 2020 as part of the efforts to combat the Covid-19 crisis.
We will endeavour to continue to process book orders through our website as far as is possible during this time in order to help students who are studying for exams from home and trying to keeping up with their school work. Although we will not be in the office, we are continuing to offer support and information through our social media channels, Facebook.com/CloIarChonnacht and Twitter.com/CloIarChonnacht and via our website http://www.cic.ie.
The first e-Book that we will be making available free of charge as part of this initiative is the classic Cré na Cille by Máirtín Ó Cadhain, published by Sáirséal agus Dill and featuring illustrations by Charles Lamb. Cré na Cille will be available to download free of charge from http://www.cic.ie for seven days and thereafter we will offer another eBook title for free each week.
