Mar is dual do Phádraig Standún, úrscéal so-léite atá anseo. Stíl éasca, sheolta, ábhar is cás le go leor daoine ar na saolta seo agus é le haithint gur scríbhneoir a bhfuil a cheird saothraithe go maith aige. Aon eachtra chorraitheach amháin atá sa scéal – Stiofán Ó hAnluain a bheith éalaithe as an tigh altranais go hAmstardam mar a dhreapann sé uchtbhalla ar an tríú hurlár i Músaem Van Gogh agus an crutha ar an scéal go léimfidh sé. Tá galar Alzheimer air agus tugtar léargas air sin agus ar an saol atá ag a mhuintir féin agus acu san atá i mbun an tí altranais.
