The new series Scéalta Scéine contains four new short mystery books in the Irish-language which are suitable for children between 8 and 11 years of age. These are lively and fast-paced books which young readers who are building on their reading skills will enjoy. The series is translated to simple, easy-to-understand Irish by Gormfhlaith Ní Thuairisg and Máirín Ní Ghadhra who are both journalists with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta. The original series was published in English titled Freestylers Short Thrillers. The Irish-language editions were published by Cló Iar-Chonnacht in association with COGG.
