Áine Durkin (Mise Áine)

Originally from Connemara, Áine Durkin has won Oireachtas na Gaeilge prizes for her blog, Mise Áine, in 2010 and for her collection of poetry, Mise Áine: An Bhean Istigh in 2017. Songs that she has written have won prizes in the Pan Celtic Festival, in 2013, 2018, 2019 and in 2020. Her songs have also won prizes from Ros na Rún / Raidió na Gaeltachta, in 2013. The song she wrote, 'Ní Thuigim', won the first prize in the International Pan Celtic Festival in 2019. She won the Colm de Bhailís prize in 2019 and her name will be added to the Portráid na Scríbhneoirí Gaeilge project in 2020. She is @MiseÁine on Twitter and Facebook and the author of the blog 'Mise Áine ag Rámhaille".
